1. Introduction
Straddie Logic Pty Ltd ("we", "our", or "us") operates digital applications and related websites. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information across our products. We design our software on a privacy-first, local-storage principle. By using our applications or websites, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
2. Data Collection and Architecture
2.1 Local Device Storage & Transmission
Our applications store your primary data locally on your device. Match history, game statistics, player names, user profiles, photos, and personal app preferences remain on your device and are never sent to or stored on Straddie Logic servers.
When you explicitly initiate temporary online features (such as generating a QR code or PIN for Live Broadcasting), temporary match scoring data is transmitted in real time via Google Firebase solely to broadcast scores to your invited spectators. This session data is ephemeral and is not retained or monetized by Straddie Logic once the game session terminates.
2.2 Optional Cloud Backup (Google Drive Integration)
If you choose to enable automated backup or sync, your backup data files are stored directly in your own personal Google Drive account in your private storage. Straddie Logic does not host, access, inspect, or retain your Google Drive files.
Google API User Data Limited Use Disclosure: Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres strictly to the
Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Your Google user data is never used to develop, train, or improve generalized AI/ML models, nor is it transferred or sold to third parties.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We partner with trusted third-party providers to power essential infrastructure, in-app purchases, and ad serving:
- Google AdMob: Serves advertisements in free application editions. AdMob may collect device identifiers (e.g., IDFA, Android Advertising ID), cookies, and approximate IP location to deliver ads and measure ad performance in accordance with user consent and platform privacy settings.
- RevenueCat: Securely manages in-app purchase validation, subscriptions, and entitlement receipts across iOS and Android without storing your financial payment details (which are handled directly by Apple App Store or Google Play).
- Google Firebase: Delivers low-latency real-time relay infrastructure for live spectator match broadcasts.
4. Children's Privacy (COPPA & Global Standards)
Our applications are designed for general audiences and are not directed to children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in California, the UK, and the EEA). We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at [email protected] and we will promptly delete any such data.
5. Multi-Jurisdictional Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you have statutory rights regarding your personal data:
- United States (California CCPA/CPRA & State Laws): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal data for targeted advertising. You can opt out of personalized ads via your device operating system settings (e.g., "Limit Ad Tracking" on iOS or "Delete Advertising ID" on Android). We do not sell user data for monetary consideration.
- European Economic Area & United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR): We process minimal technical identifiers on the legal bases of Performance of Contract (delivering purchases via RevenueCat), Legitimate Interests (app stability and real-time broadcasting), and Consent (personalized advertising where granted). You have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict processing of your data, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
- Australia & New Zealand (Privacy Act 1988 & APPs): We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles. Australian residents may request access to or correction of any personal information held.
- Canada (PIPEDA): Canadian residents have the right to access and challenge the accuracy and completeness of their personal information.
6. Data Retention and Deletion Instructions
Because your primary game records are saved locally, you retain complete control over your data:
- Local Device Deletion: You can completely and permanently delete all match histories, stats, and preferences at any time by selecting "Clear All Data" in Settings, clearing the app storage in your device settings, or uninstalling the app.
- Google Drive Backup Deletion: You can delete synced backups at any time directly within your Google Drive account under Settings > Manage Apps > Scorekeeper App Data.
7. Data Security
Because your data is stored locally on your device, it is protected by your device's native hardware and software security controls (passcodes, Face ID, biometrics, and filesystem sandboxing). For network interactions, all data transmissions to our third-party infrastructure partners are protected using standard TLS/HTTPS encryption.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the revised policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our applications or websites after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
